  5. FVIEWIMG.ACC v1.0 (demo included here)
  6.      The fully configurable and _-~FAST+ working version (sans those
  7. little initial alerts) of Full View IMG Accessory is only part of the
  8. IMAGE CAT package!  The working version includes a configurable load
  9. buffer (only 2K on the demo) which increases loading speed and also
  10. compatibiliy with medium resoution color monitors.  The full version
  11. will allow you to view more than 5 image files, too (the demo won't). 
  12. This accessory is optimized for use on large screen monitors and
  13. supports single plane destination devices with resolutions up to 32000
  14. by 32000!

  17. IMG CAT v2.0
  18.      Originally released as a successful ShareWare item, version 2.0 of
  19. IMG CAT works WITHOUT GDOS!!!  That's right!  NO GDOS!  Version 2.0
  20. will print from 6 to 15 IMG files per page on EPSON FX, EPSON LQ,
  21. HPDJ/LJ and Atari SLM804 printers.  Due to intelligent memory
  22. management and interleaved disk/printer tasking, the new version is
  23. nearly twice as fast as the GDOS laden ShareWare version, WILL NOT
  24. CRASH due to bad IMG files, and will print a full 15 IMG files per page
  25. regardless of memory configuration (runs on a 520)!  No need to buy an
  26. expensive printer driver.  Drivers are built in!  Full IMG preview
  27. available within the program! GREAT STUFF!

  29. PIC CAT v1.0
  30.     This little ditty will catalogue up to 18 (depending on your
  31. printer configuration) Degas (PC#/PI#), Tiny (TNY,TN#), and NEO pics
  32. per page on EPSON FX, EPSON LQ, HPDJ/LJ and Atari SLM804 printers.  Low
  33. and medium resolution pics are grey scaled with utmost accuracy in a
  34. user configurable fashion and can be screened for the printed page as
  35. per your printer's resolution (select NO PICS for Epson 9 pins).  This
  36. baby can spit out a page on the laser in minutes and allows you to
  37. preview pics as they will be screened and dithered (on monochrome
  38. monitors). Runs on a 520!

  40. MAC CAT v1.0
  41.     With the advent of Spectre GCR, many folks have begun a collection
  42. of MAC pics from the Apple world.  MAC CAT will catalogue up to 15 MAC
  43. (monochrome) pics per page on the above mentioned printers and allows
  44. previews of full pics before printing.  MAC CAT can detect those
  45. "PSEUDO" MAC pics created by Migraph's Touch Up and those from the PC
  46. world and will print them flawlessly.

  48. ShareWare items included
  49. Lest you think that this is just a three legged cat, the package also
  50. includes IMG_INDX, a verbose text printout of IMG file info, and CD3, a
  51. verbose directory program that lists your directories a full 10 meg
  52. worth of files in tiny text on HPDJ and EPSON FX/LQ and compatibles. 
  53. Also on the disk is a special "dispatcher" program that gives easy
  54. access to all the included software items from the desktop. All CAT
  55. programs are written in tight _-~FAST+ assembly language and can easily
  56. save their 'environment' so that you won't have to click all those
  57. buttons each and every time you run them! All programs run on color
  58. monitors in medium resolution, monochrome monitors, and are optimized
  59. for use on MONITERM and other big screen monitors.

  76. PS  Here's a hint!  (Actually, we're just checking to see if you read
  77. this far along in these messages).  If you rename FVIEWDEM.ACC to
  78. FVIEWDEM.PRG and run it from the desktop, it will run at full speed
  79. because it allocates the necessary memory!  Try it!  The full working
  80. version of the ACC will run that fast too!  Within ANY program that
  81. allows access to the menu bar.
